What Makes Us Special
Things that make us unique and special include the following:
• Simple - Our developmental coaching process is simple to understand and use. In our experience, the more simple and powerful you can make something, the more effective it is in actual practice. No matter how great a theory or method may be, if it is too complicated (more than 3 - 4 items at any one level of organization - see How We Work page), it becomes unwieldy and loses its effectiveness.
• Powerful - Great ideas and methods are only truly powerful to the extent that they work in actual practice. We have decades worth of experience in finding and using those methods that work in actual practice. We have focused our offerings on those areas and skills that will give you the greatest benefit for your investment of time and money. Simple, powerful, and effective is the motto that drives our work.
• Comprehensive - Our work with clients is comprehensive in several respects. First, it addresses the whole life of our clients because we realize that what happens in one’s personal life affects work performance and vice versa. If a person’s personal life is falling apart, it will be difficult for them to focus and be productive at work. In another sense, it’s important to take a comprehensive approach in order maintain balance for optimal performance. The four main areas of life (Health, Relationships, Creativity, Finances) are all connected and affect each other. For example, improving your health and your personal relationships will make you more productive and effective at work.
Our work is also comprehensive in the sense that it addresses all of the ingredients necessary for success. There are many programs available for time management, goal setting, finding your life purpose, etc, and some of them are good. However, any one of those things by themselves will not create success for you. It’s not enough to organize your time if you don’t know what high priority tasks to put into your schedule. On the other hand, you may have a clear vision and a plan, but it will go nowhere without organizational skills. Ours is the only system I know of that provides a complete solution to create success in your business and life.
• Integrated - Our system is unique in the sense that it integrates skill learning with coaching to produce big positive, permanent changes. Every year billions of dollars are wasted on training programs that have only short-term effects because there is no follow through to make sure the learning moves from theory to actual practice. New perspectives and habits take time and practice to become permanent. Adding coaching to the skill learning ensures much greater results in the long term.
The big rise in coaching over the past decade is testament to its effectiveness in helping people make powerful changes and advance along their path much more quickly than they could do on their own.
